For many countries, March hosts both Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, a chance for us to celebrate the massive achievements of women throughout all walks of life; from those trailblazers internationally renowned for their accomplishments in fields as diverse as science, arts, technology, financial services, politics and more, to those everyday triumphs that women everywhere face every single day.
Across our own global network, we are proud to support the achievements of many female brokers, risk management professionals and business leaders who have forged highly successful careers and built strong independent businesses in what is traditionally, and still is, a very male-dominated industry.
There is a long way to go, as for every woman who manages to break through and shine, there are millions more facing social injustice, inequality and systematic exclusion across all countries, races, religions and social backgrounds.
This March, we celebrate the achievements of women everywhere, but also reflect on how we can empower and support future business leaders, through sharing our knowledge, advice, guidance and calling out unfair practices where we see them.
