The new Asia-Pacific regional steering team of global broking business Brokerslink has been revealed with a remit to further strengthen opportunities for its partners and affiliates from 22 countries across the region and through its global network of independent brokers, and develop niche products and innovative services tailored to the needs of clients.
Brokerslink’s ‘task force’ for the region includes representatives from partners and affiliates in Australia, India, Japan and Singapore. The team is led by Asia-Pacific Regional Manager, Au Quang Hien, CEO and founder of AEGIS Insurance Services, Brokerslink’s partner in the Vietnam who assumed the role earlier this year.
The new steering team includes:
- David Withers from PSC, in Australia
- Tushar Thakker from Peraj Insurance Brokers, in India
- Simon Wallington from Cornes & Co, in Japan
- Tony Lim from ACCLAIM Insurance Brokers, in Singapore
Au Quang explains:
“The new team represents a vast geographical area and impressive cultural diversity, with each bringing a wealth of risk and insurance knowledge and expertise, creativity and experience in their countries and across region.
The team will build on the solid foundations and fellowship created under my predecessor and mentor, Sid Garcia. This region represents an important area of growth and development for Brokerslink so we will continue to reach out to partners and affiliates around the world to create greater visibility in the Asia-Pacific region, thereby enhancing the overall Brokerslink footprint and the ability to serve our clients with exclusive products and local market expertise.”
Brokerslink has also announced the formation of its new steering team for Europe, headed up by European regional manager Denise Nart.
