Miguel heads the Underwriting Team for Accident and Health for AIG in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

In his current senior leadership position, Miguel develops and monitors A&H product strategy, P&L, and talent management. His responsibilities include developing and delivering on underwriting strategic objectives including setting, overseeing adherence to pricing guardrails. The current geographic footprint includes 25 countries.

Before Miguel was heading the Pricing and Underwriting Team for a global network of market-leading insurance companies offering products and services in over 140 countries and territories. He has been generating value to multinationals in various regions around the world.

Miguel is an Actuary and he helped international corporations meet their global needs and has extensive knowledge of the use of financing vehicles such as multinational pooling, captives, global underwriting which can contribute to the optimal sustainable global Employee Benefits program. Previously, Miguel was Regional Head of Sales for another Network and Product Developer. He ensured relevant technical guidelines and processes were followed, supported business to grow the customer program, always connecting the dots within Sales, from Actuarial to Network Partners.

Miguel has been an active member of the global insurance industry for over 20 years.
