Umron Ahmed joined Lloyd’s in January 2015 as Head of Broker Relationship Management, having previously been Chief Executive Officer of the Global Corporate Business for Zurich Insurance in Middle East Africa, based in Dubai. Umron is responsible for managing and executing Lloyd’s strategic engagement with brokers in London and globally.

In 2016 Umron was appointed Global Head of Distribution, assuming additional responsibility for developing the Lloyd’s Coverholder/MGA Strategy. Most recently, Umron gained further responsibilities as the Global Head of Business Development, which include leading the development arm of Account Management for our Managing Agent community, developing Lloyd’s strategy for our Capital Providers and is a member of the Lloyd’s Business Opportunities Committee and acts as advocate for New Entrants into the Market.
