Brokerslink welcomes first Icelandic broker to its global network

Global broking business, Brokerslink, has added Afkoma, Iceland’s third largest broker, to its international network.

The addition marks the first time an Icelandic firm has joined Brokerslink, extending the network’s global reach.

Founded in 2018, Afkoma is a trusted insurance brokerage and financial services provider, regulated by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Iceland (FME). The Reykjavik-based firm is the fastest-growing broker in the country, handling USD 22 million of written premium annually, offering a range of commercial and personal lines solutions.

Commenting on joining the network, Afkoma CEO Sæmundur St. Magnússon said:
“Afkoma was founded on the principles of trust, transparency, and client-focused solutions. Becoming part of the Brokerslink global network allows us to extend these values internationally and bring new opportunities to our clients. We are proud to be the first Icelandic broker to join the network and look forward to collaborating with our new partners around the world.”

Carla Alves, Brokerslink’s Marketing and Operations Director, added:
“Iceland is a dynamic and fast-developing market, and Afkoma is an outstanding example of entrepreneurial growth and ambition. Their addition to Brokerslink not only enhances our presence in the Nordic region but builds on the expertise and opportunities available to our global partners and affiliates.”
