Each year the annual conference is an opportunity for our partners and affiliates to meet insurance and risk management experts from across the world. 

In 2017, the conference was held in Africa for the first time, hosted by our partner in Marrakech, Alpha Assurances. 

Director General of Alpha, Youness Rhallam reflected:

“I have fond memories of previous conferences, but specially that first conference in Africa.  The event was a great success and closed with a wonderful horse show on the social day!”

This year Alpha will be represented by all five executive committee members including Youness. He believes it’s important to attend the Brokerslink conference as “it is the only time during the year that we gather together people from all over the world to share important updates on their business and perspectives”. He went on to explain that “besides meeting new people, sharing new ideas and debating important topics related to our business, I particularly enjoy the human & social side of the event”

Turning to this year, Youness detailed what he was most looking forward to about the event in Bordeaux;

“This year I am definitely looking forward to drinking some very good wine!   On a serious note, I am looking forward to meeting our new partners and affiliates, with France being very close geographically and culturally to Africa, we are anticipating a strong presence on this continent.  This year’s conference agenda is very interesting, we have the CEO of AXA, Thomas Buberl, and I am looking forward to learning about the future of insurance in ‘Insurance 4.0’”.
